The Bears looked pretty ferocious against the Browns, but the rest of the schedule includes few cupcakes.

Even the Bears mascot looked pretty ferocious against the Browns, but the rest of the schedule includes few cupcakes.

Here are the week nine Bears power rankings from various sites around the web:

ESPN:

#17 (Last week:18)

Analysis, “Like everyone else, they loved seeing the Browns on the schedule.”

Yahoo Sports:

#16 (Last week: 17)

Analysis, “Are their pass blockers engaged in a secret competition with their Packers counterparts to see which team’s high-priced quarterback can absorb more hits?”

Pro Football Weekly:

#17 (Last week: 18)

Analysis, “Bad opponent shouldn’t obscure the problems that still remain.”

Fox Sports:

#16 (Last week: 19)

Analysis, “Does this team seem headed for Jay Cutler’s annual 8-8 or 7-9 finish? Just two cupcakes remain on Chicago’s schedule, and we’re entering the cold, Windy City months when the Bears will need to revive their ailing running game. THIS WEEK: vs. Cardinals (4-3).”

CBS:

#17 (Last week: 19)

Analysis, “Nothing like the Cleveland Browns to provide the perfect potion for all that ails a team. Facing Arizona at home this week won’t be as easy.”
